My dad made the best salad sandwiches of all time. They were BIG in height, large in flavour and filled full of plants with mustard and ham. His sandwiches would measure a height of around 10-15 cm. NO joke. He would then push it down and spend a good 40 minutes to an hour devouring it. Well, mine is nothing like his, but making this sandwich brought up a lot of memories for me.
