Where do I start… Well, my mate Donna is a fantastic cook, like a proper one that explores and gives recipes a good hard crack. These homemade vegan meatless balls need a name and coming up with a proper name to match the moments in the kitchen with Donna is actually impossible. It would be a fake try dimming down the absolute cracker of moments together.

Anyhoo, the teriyaki sauce feels like there’s not enough of it, so be sure you don’t reduce it too much as it evaporates away into space.

Bought Pesto vs Homemade? Let’s think about commonly bought pesto. The buyer and EATer have absolutely NO control over what makes up a jar of bought pesto. Oil, Salt and Acid… Is it real salt?? Or is it a man made salt that’s filled with anti caking agents in it. Not sure?? Is it good quality oil?? Or is it a veggie oil that’s produced using many different veggie oils? And what does that mean to your organs? And is the acid real?? Would it be fresh citrus? Limes or Lemons? What possibly could it be if it’s not fresh?

At the end of the day, food science is within a jar of pesto compounds in the body. It will have major effects long term. This recipe is a simple fast and easy place to start when it comes to pesto.

Veggie patties, in my opinion, are normally dry, bland, and simply full of rice, chickpeas, or black beans. Not that there’s anything wrong with those ingredients – it’s just too much when you’ve worked all day and just want to smash something together fast.

I think of all the moms, dads, grandparents, and singles out there doing their best with what they have in the fridge. This recipe is for all of us. It’s fast and can be served as a burger, a rissole with my yummy gravy, or salad and homemade tomato sauce. Whatever you decide to do, I trust you will find this moment to reflect on how wonderful you are. I dedicate this recipe to you and your family.
