Soups And Weight Loss
Soups are one of the go-tos’ when you’re wanting to do a cleanse or a fast of some sort as they are one of the least calorie-dense meals you can consume. How they are made is just as important as how they create so much abundance in the body.
Soups can be blended for that creamy texture without the cream and that fatty consistency without a ton of fat. They can be chunky if you feel like it – and that’s the part where you need to chew. What I have realised is, with every soup bowl of goodness, I feel full.
They also have a way of using up veggies that don’t often have answers to a recipe and they play a BIG part in my 21-Day Cleanse. All in all, soups are the key to cleansing out the colon and allowing your digestive system a break. Soups are the diet pill of our time when it comes to losing weight and healing.
Pea And Coconut Soup
Soup addicts are fun to be around. They know their soups. They experiment with ingredients and flavours and they are fun people. That’s my observation. LOL. I haven’t been a big soup addict, I live in a country where the temp is around 29-30 C with high humidity. Soup is the last thing on my mind. Salad is my go-to. Though after making this rich and warming situation of glory, I have to say I ate it 2 nights in a row. Not kidding. I tell you, I couldn’t stop eating it.

Vegan Lentil Soup
This is a gorgeous little vegan Lentil soup that is freezer friendly with easy-to-find ingredients in your local supermarket. This is my go-to recipe if I really don’t feel like cooking. I made this as simple as possible. No frills. Perfect for the cold weather.
